BPS SHED MEETING DATES

Hi All,

Shed meetings kick off next week. See times and venues below.  Note that this round we will be providing a BBQ breakfast for morning meetings and lunch for afternoon meetings.  Topics to be discussed with staff from BPS, SRA and Farmacist include:

  • Productivity reports from 2020 season including variety performance by soil type
  • Canegrub update and product usage
  • RSD information 
  • Itch Grass 
  • Irrigation costs and management
  • Herbicide info and grass control options
  • SRA23 information (new variety available this year)
  • Other topics as requested by growers

The Australian Dollar currently trades at:  76.66 US cents

Forward indicative prices in Australian dollars are:

* $470 for Mar Contract – 2020 season

$467 for 2020 season

$427 for 2021 season

$385 for 2022 season

$364 for 2023 season

The 2020 Target Price Contract reflects a whole-of-season weighted average in a 5:1 ratio across the remaining two contracts.

For Growers who have chosen to roll 2020 – Season exposure, QSL will gross up their target price to be inclusive of roll costs incurred currently $9.43
