Dear Kalamia Members,

REDUCTION OF INTERIM CCS

After considering the results of CCS achieved so far for this season ( 13.07), the Directors have considered it prudent to further reduce the Interim CCS rather than having growers possibly being faced later in the year with a bill from the mill if payments to growers have exceeded the value of crop supplied.

The new Interim CCS has been set at 13.40 down from 13.76 in the last assessment and 14.26 at the start of the season.

Dear Kalamia Members,

Burning for Harvest

Members are reminded of the terms of our current CSA regarding the amount of cane that can be burned for Harvesting Requirements.

Until 30 September that amount was 2 days harvesting, from 1^st October the amount is reduced to 1 ½ days harvesting.

The CSA also requires that the burning must be in accordance with daily bin quota advised the mill.
