- Wilmar is planning a 24-hour stop at Inkerman Mill from about 8pm Wednesday to remove a build-up of clinker on the No. 1 boiler grate.
- During the stop, Wilmar will complete the cleaning and maintenance work originally planned for Thursday.
- About 6000 tonnes of cane that has already been burnt will be harvested and crushed before Wilmar shut down milling operations.
- Wilmar has asked all harvesting groups to ensure no more cane is burnt last night.
