WILMAR MILLS UPDATE
The following advice has this morning been received from Wilmar.
Invicta Mill.
- Crushing is about to resume on Invicta Mill’s B side following a stop overnight.
- The diffuser chain on the B side milling train came off its sprockets about 6.30pm yesterday (Tuesday).
- Teams worked long into the night to manually clear hot, wet bagasse from the area, and reinstall the chain.
- While B side was down, we took the opportunity to conduct cleaning and maintenance work that was scheduled for next Tuesday.
- Today’s loading has been reduced to 70 per cent.
Pioneer Mill
- Lost 4.5 hours last night when the syrup tank (part of the rocket near the lab) started to leak.
- Still loading just over 10,000t today.
Inkerman Mill
- Inkerman is operating one boiler down today as they need to do a tube repair.
- Loading reduced to just under 11,000t.
