Widespread storms delivering significant falls in excess of 100mm in the Millaroo Clare area this afternoon. Davis weather stn network recorded 27mm at Kalmia, 37mm at Home Hill and 41mm at Brandon
- All harvesting has stopped except for one in Pioneer who is trying to get his last 20 bins of burnt cane cut
- 68 bins left burnt in the paddock at Invicta
- 64 bins left burnt in the paddock at Pioneer
- 280 bins left burnt in the paddock at Kalamia – this was all burnt this morning
- 130 bins left burnt in the paddock at Inkerman
- Total of about 3,500 tonnes
- Mills will shut down when they run out of cane and commence cleaning and/or maintenance
- Will re-assess in the morning
