Paddock to Reef Conversation Series

Hi All,

We are excited to announce that the Paddock to Reef Conversation Series landing page is now live on the NQ Dry Tropics website.

The series is an initiative to promote online discussions exploring the different issues and topics about the Paddock to Reef Integrated Monitoring, Modelling, and Reporting Program (Paddock to Reef Program).

It also helps bring together stakeholders across the grazing and sugarcane industries in the Burdekin region who are involved in government-funded projects aimed at improving water quality – to increase awareness of the P2R program.

Each virtual session aims to increase understanding of the Paddock to Reef program and will enable industry members, stakeholders, and extension staff in the Burdekin to seek clarification on how the Paddock to Reef Program is designed to monitor and report on progress towards Reef 2050 water quality targets.  The virtual sessions will provide participants with background information in the lead-up to the face-to-face Regional Integrated Science Forums scheduled to take place in June.

Next week we will send you a calendar invite for the first online session scheduled on March 23rd.

If you are interested in following the discussions, feel free to register here.

Cheers

Jade Fraser
