REEF REGULATIONS QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Burdekin Productivity Services and Sugar Research Australia have forwarded a list of questions that growers have been raising during their discussions in relation to the new reef regulations.

Responses from the Qld Government in relation to these questions have been incorporated in the attached document.

REEF PROTECTION REGULATIONS INFORMATION PACK

KCGO has previously registered to receive the following information pack on the expanded “Reef Protection Regulations” which come into effect as of 1st December 2019.

The information can be used as a handy guide to ensure members are complying with the regulations.

KCGO is intending to hold small grower workshops in the coming months to provide an overview of current/new changes to these regulations. Members will be advised further in due course.
